Still waiting for spring

Waiting for spring is pretty long here in Finland… Still wearing long sleeves T-shirts and pullovers ! It is still snowing sometimes, still some frost…

So I had to find a way to keep me warm : cooking ! (and eating of course). Here are some examples of my week ends :

pear and vanilla and sugar in the bread machine
my first home made jam ! its working !
my first home made jam : pear-vanilla !

The recipe of this jam comes from here (sorry, in french) : http://machine-a-pain.fr/recette/84/confiture-poire-vanille.html

 Spinach quiche

roquefort pie

ham olives and cheese cake
my chocolate rabbit
cookies
roll cakes with home made pear-vanilla jam and chocolate icing 🙂
home made roll cake 5 minutes after...

The recipe : home-made jam (see above)

The cake : (in french, from my grand mother’s book)

And the Icing :  Dark chocolate (70%) and a little bit of butter to melt slowly together

meringues
baking of the snail biscuits
snail biscuits
pork tenderloin and fried potatoes
Swedish cider... apple and rhubarb (euh... trop sucré !)

I also had fun with my bike… while I was pushing it the Eastern Sunday morning, I heard a “BANG” : my back tyre exploded… 🙁 really bad luck cause I was far away from home of course and all the shops were closed until the Tuesday !

At work, I got a German computer, and change the keyboard settings because I like better the International US one. But, I had to change a bit the looking of the keyboard, I was looking for hours every time to find a sign… So here it is, you need a lot of patience, and few hours (and specially when the signs disappeared under the keys 🙁 ) to transform a German keyboard !!

And I changed my hair again, I cut them myself and i changed the color again (dark with purple)… Here is my new head !

  1. Wahou toute cette cuisine ! Tout cela me donne bien envie !
Je t’embrasse fort, tu me manques.
    Véro

  2. Tu m’as donné faim à moi aussi 😀 tout à l’air super bon!!!
Et sympa ta nouvelle coiffure 😉
    Bisous
